Small additional dust collector - DPE400
The additional 450 m3/h dust collector increases the air intake flow in the cabin. Ideal for managing sandblasting and/or blowing activities that generate a lot of dust.
The DPE 400 has 2 filter cartridges and 2 automatic cleaning modules, with discharge bottle and cleaning valve. Both sets work with a pneumatic system that is automatically operated by pressing the pedal of the machine. The dust is collected in a disposable plastic bag that can be changed intuitively.

Description of the small additional dust collector
The small additional dust collector is an option for sandblasting booths and comes standard on SF 700 and SF 1000 dust collection booths. It is the little sister of the DPE 750, which is more powerful and has a larger filter surface area. The additional dust collector increases the volume of air sucked into the booth, which improves visibility, dust extraction and the quality of sandblasting or blasting work.
The small DPE 400 additional dust collector incorporates two filter cartridges and two automatic cleaning modules, each consisting of a discharge bottle and a cleaning valve. These assemblies are controlled by a pneumatic distributor, which is itself remotely operated by the machine's foot pedal.
Pressing the pedal triggers the cleaning of one cartridge, while releasing the pedal triggers the cleaning of the other cartridge.
Dust is collected directly in a disposable plastic bag.
It is designed and manufactured entirely by ARENA BLAST in-house at our factory in northern France.

The operation remains the same: the additional dust collector is connected to the sandblasting booth from above via a vortex to prevent the heavier abrasive from being sucked up. The connection to a dust extraction booth is made at the bottom of the hopper via a corrugated duct. The centrifugal fan creates a vacuum in the booth, which allows the air containing the dust to be extracted. Everything is filtered to 1.2µm by four filter cartridges with an automatic cleaning system.
This system is highly effective in situations that generate a lot of dust and improves visibility inside the cabin.
