At ARENA, we have been working for more than 40 years to develop machines that best meet the needs of each of our customers. It is with this in mind that we design and manufacture tailor-made special cabin models for any specific request. The possibilities are multiple and therefore we draw up specifications with our customers and we study all the specific adaptations necessary. All the specificities are studied and tested, it can be a question of changing the size of the cabin, adding a robot, a PLC or special adaptations.
Automatic multi-nozzle blasting cabinet and rotary table
Application: shot blasting for the maintenance of die parts
Machine designed and developed in partnership with a major industrial group. This vacuum blasting cabinet uses a multi-nozzle system. The part is loaded onto a support which is positioned at the centre of a rotating plate. Everything is automated and controlled on the HMI fitted to the machine. Once the operator has configured the machine, all he has to do is press the green start button, and the sandblasting and blowing cycle can proceed automatically and in complete safety. The abrasive dedusting and flow treatment modules are equipped with sensors and are remote from the machine.

Application: shot peening
Sandblasting machine equipped with an UR 5 robot (robotic arm to help automate certain tasks). This booth has a double window, a double door and a rotating basket. It also has a 'magnavalve' at the base of a pressure pot, which allows the abrasive flow rate to be adjusted according to requirements and the surface to be stripped or treated.

Application: stripping pipe threads in the petrochemical sector
Sandblasting machine designed to treat the ends of steel pipes. It is equipped with a kuka robot to automate surface treatment tasks. The robotic arm operates automatically on the tubes thanks to a programmed movement. It also has a double pressure pot with customised dimensions for uninterrupted sandblasting. The body is designed with a circular side opening with diaphragm, a door safety device and a tube presence sensor. Finally, it is equipped with a front door for maintenance operations.

Sandblasting machine designed from two cabins merged together, equipped with an HMI for the automation of treatment tasks, with customised dimensions adapted to the treatment of tubes and chimneys. It also has two loading trolleys on each side of the machine.

Sandblasting machine designed with side openings to allow the copper plates to enter the machine while keeping the cabin airtight. Special blow-moulding machine with PLC and rotating basket
Application: automated blow moulding for the SLS or MJF additive manufacturing sector
Machine equipped with 3-way valves with ionising ramp inside and outside the drum. This cabin has an on-axis motor for discharging the parts to be treated (removing dust, cleaning parts, pre-treating parts, etc.). It also has an integrated calibrated pressure gauge and a tilting rotating basket for easy access to the parts being treated.
Modules for use with expendable or recycled abrasive
Application: tube blasting
This module, specially designed by our engineering department, is intended to offer a new functionality to the Arena sandblasting cabinet. The operator can choose whether to recycle the abrasive directly in the cabinet, or to use it only once, i.e. in "lost abrasive" blasting mode. All the abrasive used is collected in the hopper located high up. When the hopper is full, a big bag is placed underneath, and the abrasive flows out by gravity after the hatch is opened.
