Cab equipped with sandblasting and compressed air blow-off nozzles for high versatility.
ARENA BLAST triple ventilation module: high-performance abrasive recycling, optimised dust removal, and efficient dust filtration and extraction.
8L dual-chamber pressure pot: continuous, uninterrupted blasting with integrated level sensors.
Motorised turntable: uniform 360° treatment of parts.
Simplified maintenance: quick and intuitive replacement of wear parts (gloves, glass, filters, nozzles, etc.).

The shot peening booth with a robot

The prestressing shot peening machine offers an automated and highly precise solution for industrial shot peening.

Equipped with a collaborative robot, it guarantees perfect repeatability of trajectories and consistent quality, even on complex parts or in continuous production.

The cabin incorporates a MagnaValve® ensuring extremely precise abrasive metering, essential for controlling the pre-stressing intensity and meeting the requirements of the aerospace, automotive and mechanical engineering sectors.

The dual-chamber pressure vessel allows for uninterrupted operation, whilst the intuitive touch screen simplifies control of the robot and the entire machine. Designed and manufactured in France, this solution combines performance, ergonomics and safety, whilst reducing operator fatigue.

Thanks to its numerous options and customisation possibilities, it adapts to all shot peening requirements, from small batches to the most demanding applications.

The benefits of a robotic sandblasting cabinet

Some manufacturers require both automation and precision in their impact surface treatment processes. Rotating baskets or simple axes are either insufficient or cause damage to the parts. It is therefore necessary to equip the machine with a robot or cobot to perform precise movements, completely autonomously and safely.

The challenge with a machine of this type lies in its ability to withstand the elements; indeed, sandblasting creates a highly abrasive environment. With over 40 years’ experience in the design and manufacture of sandblasting machines, ARENA BLAST is able to design robotic-arm machines that are high-performance, robust and compact. The robot is fitted with a special protective cover that prevents the abrasive from damaging the various axes.

This machine, which was designed entirely on a computer prior to being manufactured in our workshop, allows the operator to easily configure the path of the UR cobot. The operator places the workpiece on the carriage tray and can choose to define the path either manually, using the joystick, or via the HMI screen.
