How to choose your sandblasting / bead blasting cabinet
Choosing the principle of media projection
There are two principles for projecting the media, by pressure or by vacuum
Pressurized sandblasters use a pressurized abrasive pot. It is the air pressure that propels the media directly via a sandblasting pipe and then a nozzle.
Vacuum blasters use a Venturi gun that sucks the abrasive from a hopper before spraying it. The gun is equipped with a compressed air hose and a media suction hose.
Vacuum sandblasters are reserved for sandblasting small parts because the efficiency is lower, but these machines offer better comfort of use and precision and require less compressor power.
Pressure sandblasters can use all types of abrasives, while vacuum machines are not recommended for the use of metal shot.
Pressure sandblasters require the pot to be reloaded when it is empty, on ARENA booths releasing the pressure with the pedal allows the automatic reloading of the pot. For better productivity, we offer the dual pot option that allows the refilling of one pot while using the other pot.
All ARENA booths are equipped with continuous abrasive recycling and enclosure ventilation. A plastic bag system collects dust
