FEATURES & BENEFITS:

When copper ore concentrate is melted, iron silicate is formed. This passes through a channel and is granulated at a temperature of approximately 1250°C, using a pressurized water jet at a controlled temperature. After cooling in a fresh water tank, the fine particles are separated from the aggregate produced in this way.

Amorphous vitrified slag. Does not absorb water. During the manufacture of the abrasive, no grinding or grinding procedures are used. As a result, the individual abrasive particle is not broken and retains its extreme hardness and strength, regardless of the particle size. Reduced dust generation. All components are present in oxidized form, mainly in the form of bonded silicate.

It is designed for cleaning and stripping metal and stone/concrete, removing chips, rust, old paint layers, impurities...

Suitable for Sa 3, Sa 21/2, Sa 2 and Sa 1 roughness.

Iron silicate is precisely processed and sized and complies with ISO 11126-3 and 11127. It contains less than 1% free crystalline silica. It is therefore approved for dry blasting
