White corundum is a high-purity, extremely hard aluminum oxide used as an angular abrasive. It is free of impurities and is suitable for applications where iron oxide is not present, as it is non-ferrous.
An angular and very resistant mineral abrasive, white corundum differs from brown corundum in its composition. Indeed, where brown corundum contains traces of iron oxide, white corundum is devoid of it. It is therefore recommended for sandblasting/stripping stainless steel or aluminum parts.
This very hard abrasive can be sprayed a large number of times and is widely recommended in a bag blasting cabinet.
