  • Mobile vacuum sandblaster Ø5 - P200 C

    €588.00 HT

The P200C mobile sandblaster, or airbrush, is equipped with a tank carriage. The abrasive, stored in the carriage, is sucked in from the bottom of the carriage and is projected via the gun's tungsten carbide nozzle.

Like the P200 gun, the 5mm nozzle requires a 2.5 horsepower compressor for optimal operation.

  • Mobile vacuum sandblaster Ø6 - P450C

    €588.00 HT

The P450 C mobile sandblaster has a mobile trolley that serves as an abrasive tank. The blasting media is sucked at the bottom of the hopper to be injected into the tungsten carbide nozzle for blasting.

As with the P450, the compressor power needed for ideal operation is 5 horsepower.

  • Mobile vacuum sandblaster Ø8 - P800 C

    €588.00 HT

The P800C mobile sandblaster or airgummer includes, in addition to the trigger gun with tungsten carbide nozzle Ø 8 mm, a carriage that serves as an abrasive tank. The grains are sucked up from the bottom of the hopper to sand.

Space-saving, this trolley will be perfect for any type of outdoor sandblasting.

Airgum and sandblasters are sandblasting equipment used for outdoor sandblasting or airbrushing.

These sandblasting machines are generally used for building work (cleaning), in the automotive industry (stripping or bead blasting) on large surfaces to be sanded (facades, doors, bodywork).

Which compressor for outdoor sandblasting?

In the same way as with bag cabins, outdoor blasting machines require a compressed air supply provided by a compressor.

Mobile sandblasters do not require the same compressor power.

The distinction between vacuum or overpressure blasting mechanisms, the power of the machine, or the nozzle diameter are determining factors in the choice of a compressor.

To give you an idea, a blast gun will need a 3 horsepower compressor, while an NS8/40T overpressure with a Ø 6 mm nozzle will need a 15 horsepower compressor.

What are the abrasive blasting mechanisms with a mobile sandblaster / sandblast gun?

The blast guns work via a vacuum system. Vacuum systems are simple to set up and inexpensive. The abrasive is sucked up at the base of the hopper to a venturi gun. It is this venturi gun that serves as a means of spraying the abrasive.

The mobile sandblasters type NS8T E and NS8/40 T are overpressure sandblasters. The abrasive grains are projected through the nozzle thanks to the abrasive tank that is pressurized. Pressure blasting machines are effective for complex blasting jobs and provide 2 to 3 times more performance compared to a vacuum system.

ARENA sandblasting guns:

ARENA sandblasting guns are very easy to use and very quick to set up. They are perfect for small jobs, on limited surfaces or for touch-ups. The guns suck up the abrasive via a suction tube placed directly at the bottom of the trolley hopper or via a tube to be placed directly in the sand.

There is a version of these guns with a P200, P450, P800 suction tube and a version with a P200CH, P450CH, and P800CH mobile hopper carriage.

These blast guns are available in 3 powers to choose from depending on the compressed air source. They are compatible with all types of abrasives with a particle size of less than 1 mm. The pistols are supplied with a protective fabric hood. For more comfort, we also recommend our COMB1 sandblasting suit. The C1520 ventilated sandblasting helmet is also compatible with all our sandblasting guns.

ARENA mobile sandblasters:

Our range of mobile pressurized sandblasters includes 2 models: the NS8T E and the NS8/40T.

The NS8T E sandblaster with its 8-litre abrasive tank is ideal for small stripping jobs that require a sandblaster with a pressurised sandblasting system. Thanks to its adjustable pressure between 2 and 8 bar, it is suitable for all materials and all sandblasting work, whether it is airbrushing, cleaning or sandblasting. Equipped with an ergonomic gun and a pressure regulator, it is very easy to use and will adapt to each user.

The NS8/40T type machines have a higher capacity; These sandblasters can carry up to 48 liters of abrasive. Depending on the type of abrasive, this corresponds to about 150 kg. It is ideal for all stripping work: vehicle frames, wooden shutters and/or doors, brick or stone walls, etc. Its low curb weight (40 kg) allows great manoeuvrability and total mobility thanks to its all-terrain wheels.

Which abrasives are in an ARENA mobile sandblaster?

The abrasives to be used with a mobile sandblaster are abrasives that are called lost abrasives. This means that they were not intended to be screened multiple times; after a projection, they are unusable.

They are generally fine abrasives and do not have a high hardness, which is why they cannot be recycled. After a blasting, the abrasive grain breaks and usually turns into dust that is useless for sandblasting.

Each abrasive, due to its technical characteristics, has its own area of application and advantages.

Abrasives such as sodium bicarbonate for example are ideal for cleaning work and do not risk damaging the sandblasted substrate. The other big advantage of this abrasive is its solvency in water: at the end of a construction site, of the treatment of a part, a cleaning with water is enough to remove all traces of the abrasive from the floor.

Scorex abrasives are more aggressive for the parts and we offer 2 particle sizes. The finest grain size, SC250, is perfect for processing wooden parts. Indeed, wood is not a hard material, the Scorex with these small grains of abrasive manages to strip the support without attacking the treated material.

The Scorex 06 is more suitable for the processing of metal parts. The grits, of medium size, are very effective at stripping any metal substrate.

What is the difference between sandblasting and airbrushing? When to talk about airbrushing?

The difference? There is none. Airbrushing is generally referred to as low-pressure sandblasting work. The term airbrushing is often used to talk about outdoor sandblasting. The means of projection (overpressure/vacuum), the abrasive used, or the nature of the parts treated, are therefore not decisive for the use of one term or the other.
