BLASTING IN A BAG BOOTH

When it comes to sandblasting, there are 2 main ways to proceed. Outdoors with lost abrasive or in a hermetically sealed system.

This second solution allows for clean, dust-free and pollution-free sandblasting outside the system. This means of sanding also makes it possible to recycle the abrasive and to project the same grain several times until it turns into dust. These machines are most often referred to as sandblasting cabinets or bag cabinets.

Bag cabins are one of the most well-known alternatives for sandblasting treatment.

Extremely versatile, they can be suitable for occasional application or used more intensively.
The term bag blasting cabinets can refer to a simple and economical cabinet as well as a machine benefiting from several cyclones, optimized abrasive recycling and dust sorting.

Indeed, the main interest of this sandblasting process is the continuous sorting and recycling of the abrasive. As the blast media is projected, it is sorted to either be taken out of the circuit waiting to be drained, or sent to the filter cartridge. If the abrasive grain is intact, it will then be re-projected onto the workpiece.

Practically aesthetically similar, standard bag blasting machines can operate in different ways.
There are cabins that suck up the sand and project it via a venturi gun, these machines are called vacuum machines. This simple and inexpensive system is suitable for the majority of applications.
In contrast, overpressure machines project the abrasive via the pressure built up in the tank containing the sand. These machines require more complex manufacturing but provide 2 to 3 times more power and efficiency than vacuum cabins.

The versatility of the cabins also lies in their dimensional flexibility; we manufacture machines ranging from 600 mm wide to 1500 mm in our workshop in Marquette-lez-Lille! Our standard cabin, the largest, is 1.5 metres wide and deep. Each range has a range of sizes available on each model depending on the size of the parts to be processed. These multiple widths allow a maximum number of parts to be processed as needed without unnecessarily cluttering up the workspace.

Standard bag cabs are therefore effective for all sandblasting work for workpieces up to a certain size. They are recommended for many sandblasting jobs and are used in various fields such as industry (automotive, railway, mechanical, etc.), medical, construction, etc.
