Description and benefits of Aluminium Silicate - The perfect abrasive for gentle sandblasting

Alumina silicate is reserved for free jet sandblasting with a mobile sandblaster such as the NS8 40T or our light NS8TE sandblaster model.

It is an ultra-fine, synthetic, mineral and environmentally friendly abrasive made from a mixture of coal slag granules and natural aluminium silicate derived from volcanic lava. It is produced in accordance with ISO standards 11126-4 and 11126-11 .

It contains less than 1% free crystalline silica. Designed to limit exposure to the most critical particles during sandblasting. It is a major asset for HSE policies and worksites subject to stricter health requirements. It is therefore approved for dry blasting.

Alumina silicate blasting abrasive is ideal for gentle air-gumming operations, as its grain size and angular shape make it ideal for stripping sensitive surfaces.
