Steel microbeads (from 0.12 to 0.30 mm) are a spherical abrasive designed to make a finishing bead blasting. With this type of abrasive, the treatment of aluminum and stainless steel parts is recommended because it does not contain any trace of iron (and potentially rust).
Their high hardness makes it possible to sand at higher pressure than with glass microbeads, but their density generally requires a pressure spraying mechanism in order to obtain a conclusive result.
